Woah, those legs :drool: I have huge liking for such kind of body shape.. so pleasing to the eye :aww: Lovely character!
Tough I need to admit not everything work well for me here. Her right leg, I think, you can't even hide it behind style, seems like broken at the thigh part. I believe it should bend at the knee, but knee is as straight as on the left leg. Plus the leg is facing the viewer, while it would look more natural when it would be turned away (how to call it, profile view of the leg?). It take a little bit away from the charm of this picture :(

I am sorry to have let you down with my lack of talent and wasted potential.

No, I'm sorry! I didn't want to make you upset :( You're a great artist, that's why I'm watching you. I love your gallery, your style. I just wanted to share few little thoughts about what bothered me in your newest picture. I personally 'love' (I, can't say love actually, sometimes it also makes me angry, I perceive it as someone trying to play wiser then me, I'm still learning to appreciate it) critique, I know sometimes when I'm drawing my eyes gets used to the pictures and even if I make lots of mistakes I'm not able to notice them anymore. I believe I was too harsh in my critique.. I'm very sorry it made you feel like that :( I really just wanted to help..

Nah I'm not upset, it just seemed like a very strange way to word things. I did pretty much everything you stated I did "wrong" intentionally and at the request of the person who asked for the picture, so I don't really see it as a problem if someone doesn't like it ^^;

While I like getting critique, I do prefer to get "overall" critique (mistakes I am constantly making throughout my recent gallery) rather than just picking out things about one picture that is done and never going to be revisited. Artists are often aware of things they are doing wrong on one picture, and if it doesn't appear to be something they are constantly doing, chances are it's a one of thing and pointing it out to them is redundant since it is not something that they need to improve on as an artist, but rather the circumstance of this one picture (especially when it comes to commission work you are not being paid for extra hours to work on). Being able to let go and say "I need to move on" is an important and necessary part of being an artist.

I see, thank you for explanation. I always keep forgetting the commissioner in commission, they are the priority, it's their will. Good points here, lesson learned :)

Not a problem. Though if you do see things I am constantly doing that you think I should/could improve on, I always like to know :la:
