I use office depot printer paper as the interior for a home-made sketchbook (original drawing area is 5.5x8.5 inches) and a bic mechanical pencil I found on the floor at school (available for about $1 per pack at any office supply store).
Do you think you could do a tutorial-type-thing, showing the stages by which you sketch a character? Because I am in love with your sketches (all of your people have so much personality!) and would like to try to emulate your style.
I honestly don't really draw everything the same way every time, so I don't really think it would help you much step by step. The only things that are consistant (sometimes) are that I have a vague idea of what I want them doing and rough that in first.
